"Hovde Gård" (Hovde farm) began its history as a domestic science school in 1923, in Brekstad, Ørland town.
After an extensive renovation, "Hovde Gård" opened their doors in March 2009 as a hotel, restaurant, spa and guest principal for conferences, weddings and partys, and can now offer 35 modern and elegant rooms.
Our conference facillities mountains up to 90 people and all our rooms are equipped with AV equipment, including computers, television, flipchart and wireless internet.
Our elegant ballroom in the main building can be dished for up to 120 persons,
"Skybar" in the attic of the building is open for booked events.
Spa has a whirlpool and sauna, 2 treatment rooms for massage, a gym and relaxrom.
Our 2 restaurants are located in the barn.
Restaurant "Fjøset" (the barn) is open daily and offers a Bistro-inspired à la carte menu, "Today's Housewife" for $ 145, -. Children's play area for children and their own menu.
"Fraukjellarn" (grain storage) is our "Fine Dining" restaurant, which is opened Fridays and Saturdays. The chief cook composes a 3 and 5-course dinner with accompanying wine package each weekend.
"Hovde Gård" has its own boat house, a 49 meter catamaran to be used in tours for groups up to 20 people.
On Kråkvåg "Hovde Gård" has its own hot tub with seating for 35 people.
